Privacy Policy
To ensure that your purchases at Santa's Decoshop are secure, we've done everything possible to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. Your privacy and your trust are our greatest priorities. Santa's Decoshop saves the information you provide only for the purpose of placing and processing your order or for sending out the newsletter, if you are subscribed to it. No personal data will be given out to third parties at any time (except postal companies).
3 important facts
- To increase safety, this shop system uses 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption of your data so nobody can spy on your data. The moment you start the check-out process the shop will start the encryption.
- Should your banking data have been subject to fraud please immediately inform your bank as they will usually cover for all associated costs. In addition, please let us know as well via service@santasdecoshop.de.
- Your credit card data is not being saved by our shop system and is also never visible to any of our employees. Your card details are being sent directly to our card service company in an encrypted format for further handling.
Customer Data is stored and processed with regard to the relevant provisions of the German National Data Protection Laws (BDSG) and the Teleservice Data Protection Laws (TDDSG) Your personal data is used only for limited, well-defined, and legitimate purposes and is retained no longer than necessary.
You have the right to disclosure as well as to correction, blocking, and deletion of your stored data.

We do not pass on personal information, including your home address and email address, to third parties. Exceptions to this policy are our service partners, who require the transmission of data for order processing (i.e. DHL). In these cases, the extent of the transmitted data is restricted to the barest minimum.
Withdrawal of consent / Newsletter
You might have given your express consent to receive email marketing by selecting one of the below mentioned options. We would like to point out that you can withdraw your consent at any time for future use.

We will use your email address for our own marketing and advertising campaigns only. The address will not be made available to third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time either by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the end of our newsletter or by deselecting the corresponding checkbox in the "Newsletter" section in the "My Account" area (if you created an account with us). Information about cookies
Our shop system uses so called cookies to store information about the content of your shopping cart. When revisiting our shop at a later date, this information is reused unless the cookie has expired in the meantime (after 365 days). If you create an account with us you can always come back to the shop without having to re-enter all your personal information. The cookie will recognize you upon return and already load your data for your convenience. However, if you do not like personal information to be stored in a cookie on your computer, you can still block or deactivate them via your web browser settings. See your browser's documentation for details. This will not impact the basic functionality of the shop you will simply have a bit more typing to do when revisiting.

Information regarding credit card transactions
At no point during your order process with us will any of our employees have access to your credit card information. All information entered during check out is encrypted and directly transferred to our payment provider who is certified to process the data according to standards set by the credit card companies and national laws.
